Sunday nights in September kick off with a bang!  All classes begin at 6 PM.

“It’s Not Supposed to be Like This” (Ladies Bible Study):  What do you do when your reality is so different from the vision you had for yourself. In the 6-session video Bible study with Lysa TerKeurst, she offers fresh biblical insight to get you through painful situations, and life-giving perspectives for living in between Eden and eternity.  (NOTE:  Home Bible Study at home of Rebecca Honeycutt: 512 Academy Street, Clinton).  Facilitated by Emily Torres and Rebecca Honeycutt.

C.L.A.S.S. 301 “Stepping Into Maturity”:

God did not design ministry for just a few with seminary degrees. At First Baptist Church, we believe that every member is a minister. During CLASS 301, “Stepping Into Ministry,” you will learn how God can use your Spiritual Gifts, your Heart (passions), your Abilities, your Personality and your Experiences to minister to the needs of others.

When you chose to follow Christ, you were given special abilities, known as spiritual gifts. God gave you these gifts for you to use to build up His Church. God also gave you passion for specific activities and subjects. Having the heart for specific things, people or circumstances is to be used to guide us into a ministry that we really care about.

In this two-session class, which begins this Sunday, November 10th, at 6 PM, you will be shown how to assess your abilities, gifts and passions to see where in ministry you will love to serve. Led by Pastor Doug. Meets in Room C-112.
